The Best Experiences Of Cleveland: Part 1

The mistake by the lake may be a nickname, but there’s no mistake that Cleveland is in fact a great place to live because there are so many things to do. We want to share some of the best places in Cleveland because it’s a great way to get yourself acquainted with a new city especially if you’ve just moved and we are happy to help you get settled.

West Side Market
West Side Market is Cleveland’s west side staple if you consider yourself a “foodie” or food enthusiast. This huge public market has a huge set of indoor and outdoor vendors offering offering fresh meat, produce, pasta, pierogi, flowers, local products and more. We suggest getting there earlier, pick up some brunch at the West Side Market Cafe, and indulge the fantastic food of Cleveland.

Great Lakes Brewery
Great Lakes Brewing Company Offers a total of 15 beers which include the legendary Christmas Ale and Oktoberfest. Just a short walk from the West Side Market, Great Lakes Brewery is a great atmosphere to kick back, relax, and soak in the Cleveland Fall weather. The Brewery also gives regular tours if you’re interested to hear their story. Trust us, if a brewing company can thrive in a city that’s river caught on fire because it was so polluted, you should take the hint that it’s good beer.

Cedar Point
The best amusement park in the world for the past 15 years can proudly call Cleveland it’s home.  Cedar Point is Located about 90 minutes west of Cleveland in the coastal town of Sandusky, and many consider Sandusky the best way to stay-cation if you live in Cleveland. Cedar point is set right on the lake and holds records for the best roller coasters that thrill seekers will always enjoy. Cedar point isn’t just a summer place to visit either, Halloweekends is a great way to get spooked with haunted houses and fun activities for kids as well. A perfect weekend trip to take

Progressive Field
Home to the Cleveland Indians, one of Cleveland’s much maligned sports teams, Progressive Field is one of the most beautiful ballparks in the league and one of the best places to spend an evening with friends. Tickets can usually be purchased by walking up to the box office the day of the game, and at a good price.  Catch the hot dog race at every game, but if you visit on a friday night game they put on a rockin’ fireworks show.

We’re not done.. there’s plenty more fun things to do in Cleveland so be sure to check back soon to get more. Until then, try some of these places out and decide which you like best!
